How long have you been with WingateWeb?
Four years now.

As a QA Specialist, what do you do?
The QA team focused on individual customer projects to ensure that all of the onsite applications are tested, are user friendly, and make sense for the attendees. We also do automated testing as needed per project to test for user load and speed of application. If I'm not doing project work I make sure our base conference product is tested, user friendly, and makes sense for use by anyone.

What prior experience did you have before joining WingateWeb?
My experience before WingateWeb was working at two software companies doing customer support, application installs and training, and testing.

What sort of experience is most useful in your position?
Knowledge of databases and SQL language, automated testing experience, and understanding of or experience with software development.

What is your educational background?
I'm in school working on a degree right now.

What do you like most about what you do at WingateWeb?
What I like most is the people I work with. Everyone works really well together, especially in engineering.

What is most rewarding about your job?
The most rewarding part about the job is to know that people rely on you to get that "warm fuzzy" that everything will go smooth onsite and the customer will be happy.

What is your team like?
The engineering team is a great group. Motivated, self starters, and everyone is willing help out.

What is traveling for WingateWeb like?
I have traveled a number of times. Traveling is what you make of it. Long hours but it’s good to interact with the client and leave a good impression.

What do you like about living/working in Utah?
Living in Utah is great, especially if you like the outdoors. Mountain biking, hiking, skiing. Working in Utah means working with good people that have integrity.

What are your hobbies?
My hobbies are snow skiing, going to the gym, and video editing.
