How long have you been with WingateWeb?
I have worked at WingateWeb since April 2007
As a Customer Support Agent, what do you do?
I assist people with their online registrations and/or hotel bookings, and help them with any questions they might have about the event. This is done through in-bound calls and emails.
What prior experience did you have before joining WingateWeb?
I worked at a call center making out-bound sales calls, and also at a retail store selling electronics.
What sort of experience is most useful in your position?
Good communication skills are very useful for this position; to be able to efficiently and positively help people in solving their issues.
What is your educational background?
I am currently attending Utah Valley State College.
What do you like most about what you do at WingateWeb?
I like that we are assisting the attendees directly and helping to improve their experience with the events.
What is most rewarding about your job?
Knowing that our team is helping the company run smoothly and assisting the client's directly.
What is your team like?
The people on the support team have become good friends of mine. They all work hard and help each other to get the work done.
What is traveling for WingateWeb like?
Going on-site to the events is fun and you learn a lot about WingateWeb's products in a short amount of time. It gives you good experience on how to quickly assist the attendees.
What do you like about living/working in Utah?
I like how versatile Utah is. The canyons are only a short drive away, and the mountains offer a lot of activities. There are also a lot of events that take place in Salt Lake City, and amazing art galleries in Park City.
What are your hobbies?
I like to play tennis, go hiking, read and paint.
