WingateWeb Closes 2006 with Substantial Revenue Growth, Tier-One Customer Wins and Product Innovation

Salt Lake City, UT - December 12, 2006 - WingateWeb, the leading provider of event management software, today announced its end-of-year highlights which include 30 percent revenue growth, the addition of many tier-one customers, multiple product releases, and new key partnerships.

In June of 2006, WingateWeb’s founders, Tom Karren, Ty Allen, and Doug Baird, repurchased a majority interest in the company. Since June, the founders’ strategic vision has led the company to dramatic growth, including several new Fortune 500 customers, crossing different industries, in both North America and Europe. Customer renewal rates exceed 90 percent.

In 2006, WingateWeb released Event Console 2.0 and 2.1. The WingateWeb Event Console is a persistent event management software platform that provides robust event consolidation and meeting management across multiple events. WingateWeb also released version 4.5 of its flagship Conference offering. Conference 4.5 provides powerful technologies for complex conference registration, content management, exhibitor management, lead retrieval, surveys, and reporting.

In September 2006 , WingateWeb released LeadAdvance, which enables exhibitors to capture leads on Blackberry devices. With LeadAdvance, leads are automatically synchronized to the WingateWeb 4.5 platform and online exhibitor tools. Exhibitors enjoy the mobility of a handheld device with no requirement for an on-site PC. WingateWeb has seen LeadAdvance become rapidly adopted by its customer base.

In May of 2006, WingateWeb announced a channel partner program that enables WingateWeb partners to offer WingateWeb technology as a part of their unique offerings. WingateWeb partners are required to complete the WingateWeb Certification Program and demonstrate proficiency in the administration and customization of WingateWeb technologies. As a result, customers are increasingly looking to WingateWeb partners to fulfill the professional services that are a necessary part of every event.

This year also provided organizational changes to further the founder’s vision and strategic direction. This included the creation of the Client Services organization, which is led by Staci Clark. Staci’s team is responsible for building relationships and driving value for WingateWeb customers. The Client Services group brings together various client-facing disciplines within WingateWeb, including account management, project management, and consulting services. By consolidating client-facing teams into one department, WingateWeb client services professionals are able to leverage best practices learned from the company’s diverse roster of corporate events projects.
