WingateWeb Announces the Official Release of Conference 5.0
October 28, 2008 – In conjunction with its 10 year anniversary, WingateWeb, a part of The Active Network, announced today the release of Conference 5.0, the latest edition of its leading enterprise event management solution. Conference 5.0 is an innovative release for WingateWeb with new features that allow event organizers to manage their events in greater detail. Key improvements include:
- New Administrative Interface
The Admin application has been entirely re-designed with a fresh new user-interface. All menus have been cleaned up and improved for easier navigation
- Dashboards
When logging into the Admin application, users will now be able to select from a list of dashboards built to show the pulse of the event at-a-glance. Each user can select their dashboards and WingateWeb can easily build custom dashboards as needed with the built-in SQL builder tools
- Registration Setup Wizard
The registration setup wizard is now fully-complete with the ability to easily manage attendee types, registration paths and packages
- Custom Field Setup Wizard
Using the Registration Setup Wizard as the framework, custom fields are now setup with ease using wizard-type functionality
- Reporting Scalability and Session Survey Improvements
Our ad-hoc reporting engine has now been modified to disable certain types of reports and/or queue others to eliminate slowness and educate customers. A simplification initiative has also been implemented with extra features used to classify session-based surveys.
