Announcing the Release of Conference 6.0 Featuring the New ActiveEvents Console
November 2, 2009 – ActiveEvents, part of the Active Network, announced the release of Conference 6.0 including a new event consolidation platform, ActiveEvents Console. Conference 6.0 offers enhanced features to better manage complex and highly-customized events.
- ActiveEvents Console: A new application built to centralize the management and deployment of multiple events with ActiveEvents Conference. Now event organizers can create new Conference application instances based on previous events in minutes, not hours.
- Event Copy: While we've been able to copy existing, small events for quite some time, the event copy feature now offers the ability to duplicate a customized, full-featured event. Event organizers can customize the application and spin up multiple instances utilizing the same codebase.
- Event Data Copy: In addition to copying events, event managers can also duplicate all the business rules, sessions, speakers, attendees and configuration from one or more events in the system.
- Simple Branding Management: To facilitate the management of roadshows or event sequences, event organizers can now create your Web site theme and then swap out an image per-event yourself.
