New Solution Extends Event Consolidation Beyond Registration
Lindon, UT – Feb. 3, 2005 – Wingate Studios, a division of MediaLive International and the leading provider of event management solutions, announced the release of the WingateWeb 4.0 Enterprise Event Management Console (EEMC). The EEMC is a Web-based event consolidation solution built to manage the details of hundreds of concurrent events. Features of the EEMC include a portfolio dashboard, reporting, centralized calendaring, attendee database, exhibitor management, social networking and content management—all linked to an easy-to-implement online registration system.
Built using a Service-Oriented Architecture, the EEMC provides a scalable and flexible platform to meet the growing and varying needs of event managers. This architecture facilitates the integration of new modules and product upgrades without modifying the core application. To further enable a centralized event management experience, a Web services layer aggregates all data to the EEMC from other modules in the WingateWeb 4.0 Platform. Current supporting modules include: Conference Module, Partner Resource Center, Content Center and Main Event.
“We built the EEMC based on the emerging trend of meeting consolidation and centralization of all event data over time,” says Tom Karren, Vice President and General Manager of Wingate Studios. “This new solution provides a scalable platform that allows users to get their arms around all their events and easily adapt them to their needs and business rules.”
“This strategic solution allows event marketers to gain greater control over meeting spend, while minimizing workloads and enabling greater collaboration among event stakeholders,” says Terri Holbrooke, Executive Vice President and Managing Director of Wingate Studios. “The beauty of having a centralized system and database is the business intelligence gathered as a result, which provides companies with a greater understanding of attendee’s educational interests and behaviors.”
The EEMC enables companies and associations to manage anywhere from a handful of events to hundreds of events annually, ranging in size from small seminars to large conferences with thousands of attendees and hundreds of sessions. This new product aims to expand the reach of Wingate Studios’ software into new markets, including event management agencies.
